removing grille question

iv got new headlights and was gonna replace them but i read one of the links you guys gave on another thread and it put me off abit cos i dont want to c**k up this bonnet release clip that you have to take off to get the bonnet leaver off before i take the grille off? or am i talkin bollox? cos iv read other threads and people dont really mention much bout it so dont kno weather its a piece of piss or if i need to take care with it?

this thread doesnt say nefin bout the clip so can i just unclip it?

you can leave the bonnet release where it is when you unclip the grille, there's enough play in it to just prop it up out of the way.
