I had the same problem, so I made the mounting holes in the intake slightly bigger and this sorted it.

Had the same problem on mine too. The snorkel of the Carbonio is a tad bigger than the the gap on the car. At the end, i managed to forcefully slide the snorkel into the gap. No probs at all. Maybe selling it tho and get a Dbilas intake from Regal. They just launched a new one to fit the ed30, which needs some re-circ pipe after the maf sensor or something. Cost £325 tho!! But gains are meant to be good, they recommended that over an intercooler and they run it on their race car. So should be a good intake i think.

I'll take a pic of mine tomorrow when I do my wheels and put your mind at rest. You just need longer bolts, I put mine on rubber bushes but then I have crazy OCD and didn't want it to rattle. You'll see the fit and finish are spot on.

Its hard to explain, but I'll give it a go. As well as opening the mounting holes up slightly I found that if you engaged the corner of the new intake into the center of the opening it fits in then slide it along to its correct position it will fit no problem. I hope this makes sense if not sorry for confusing anybody
