Im up for it...just gotta make sure i got the new car and dont have any exams during that period of time. Dont think it should be too hard to get to the ring from Gibraltar

Im still up for it !!!!!!!

Would be fantastic to get some good numbers. VW Gumball-style to the ring would be epical !

Im sure some people have been before and would know where to start in trying to organise this.

(Cheaper insurance means im getting an Audi 1.8T in April / May so would have to be before then lol unless you let me come in Audi lol)

Depending upon the date, I'm up for it too

I have a work rota to work around to get my hols, although I'm sure I could edge one or two days in either direction

Late March would work okay for me if Alan wanted to go before the end of April. Much before the end of March would probably give cold, wet weather (not good around the 'ring).

Could either make it a week or a long weekend if we wanted to arrange some other stops along the way.

I drove to portugal last year in a VW road trip with all my mates, it was absolutely amazing! We drove down through France and Spain and then to Portugal where we stayed at my parents house for a week  Road Trip's are great thoroughly recommend!

We are planning to do the same this year but go to the nurburgring on the way back which will be awesome.

Its a shame your goin so early in the year, I have got loads of exams round that time  It would have been good because I plan to have had my ed30 remapped by then.

You can put my name down. I'm good for most times of the year except the end of March and June.

You can do the drive in a day but its best to travel one day, stay overnight and do the ring the next morning when you're fresh and alert, and you will certainly need to be alert.

As I said briefly before has anyone been before and know where its best to start organising? Places to stay? Good deals we can get on group bookings etc?

Mods, it also might be worth moving this outside the MK5 section as invitations to come are for everyone.
