ADVICE NEEDED!!

i have been offered a swap!!

my car golf GTi black for a golf GTi in candy white!! both have same miles and are same year....none have any extras except mine has a remap!! oh and the other golf comes with 17" but ive got some 19" BBS LM's to put on it, oh and mines been lowered but if i swap i will get the adjustables.

what does everyone think, ADVICE NEEDED!! 

oh and i was at liverpool airport and there was a candy white with 19" left hand drive and quad exhaust's, also has AWESOME stickers all over it, is this awesome's mk5?

Happy new year mate....finally got your LM's congrats...originals or reps?? I think its totally upto you to be honest, there was a white GTI in the airport parking today and i was looking at it and must say its quite nice....it does stand out abit more then the black ones as i feel black is abit more discreet, but its totally upto you....good luck and let us know what you decide on

the lm's are originals!!  got them for very very cheap from my friend who is a bit broke. i havnt got them on the car yet as i need to rase some money for some mich PS2 35/19 tyers!!  expensive!!

If you really want a candy white one go for it, I would get a good background check of the car's history first however. Does the person whom you maybe swapping with want the wheels and suspension on your current car? If not take them off and put them on the white one. Now that would look nice, a lowered candy white gti with bbs lm's  

I doubt that lhd gti you saw will have been awesomes car beacuse as far as I know the only mk5 they own at the moment is a steel grey 3door dsg with an oettinger bodykit. Maybe the white one is just somebody who really apreciates awesomes services!

The simple fact that you are considering it says it all. If you want it and it is a straight swap and both cars are straight then go for it.

It was in decembers max power...dont normally buy that sh!t mag but read the evo and saw on the cover "double clutch golf MK5" so i was like hmm sounds interesting then realised it was DSG xD

Is it a stealer or someone you know?

Is his only reason for charging £1k the fact that it is white?

If it is a dealer just tell them to go and jump of a cliff!
If it is someone you know then kick him in the gonads and tell him to do the swap as he promised
