leather retrim
« on: 01 January 2008, 19:48 »
Im thinking about getting a set of cc leather recaros, i was just wondering how much it would cost to do a small repair on the bolster of the drivers seat and to retrim my standard rear cards in leather, also the seats im lookin at are from a jazz blue cc and my cars mystic blue, whats your opinions on how this would look?

here i am!

it'd look good! what sort of repair does the bolster need? is it torn/worn through or just faded? if its faded i can re-colour the seats, or if torn i can repair the panel.
if its the foam thats collapsed then i can also sort this and trim the rear door cards to match.

let me know if thats of any use to you.

JOE...
this is what im looking at mate, obviously im no expert but the drivers seat need a bit of work, tell me what you think, or if you think the jobs do,able without costing me the earth.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140194292202&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching

where are you based? and what would you charge to fix the drivers seat and retrim my rear door cards to match? as my cars a 3 door so those rear cards are no use.
also out of interest if i wanted to change the blue colour to maybe something nearer my car colour or cream what would that cost on the whole set? as im not sure if they would look right that colour as my cars mystic blue.

Im quite keen to go ahead with this little project but i dont want it to cost me the earth as i have to buy the seats aswell.
thanks in advance for your help mate
