9 months plus is a joke! Even a baby doesn't take that long to deliver :shocked:

Did they give you an initial delivery time?

I ordered mine on November 6th and got the call today to say it had just arrived at the dealers :laugh:

I'm pretty sure my order went through on the 29th of October, was told at the time it would be about 14 weeks  :huh:
With this i was expecting it to arrive mid to late Feb, the dealer agreed to store it and register it on the 1st of March. If it turns up early as in the next week or two i'm not sure if i would be able to tell them to store it for 5 weeks! Stick a 57 plate on it and give me the keys  :laugh:

With all these Ed30's still waiting to arrive and be registered, PLUS the fact that you can still spec new ones at Dealers it does beg the question that Hurdy asked earlier in this thread of how many Ed30's VW are actually bringing to the UK !

I should have mentioned that i'm waiting on a normal Gti not an ED30 but still i wouldnt have expected there to be a big difference in the delivery times.

Im still in shock that some chap has ordered his in March and its still not arrived, that is just MENTAL !

What the hell is going on? Have you been in contact with your stealer to see what they are playing at?

Of course I will! I'm hoping to get some pics before it's on my drive anyway.  I'm going to the dealers tomorrow to take my retention certificate to get it registered with my personal plate, so might ask if I can have a gander whilst I'm there! :cool:
