Pics will be posted once its here  What should I expect when I first drive the car? I have upgraded from a TDI 105. I drove the standard GTI and it drove really nice

I don't think we live to far apart Tom, come and have a run in mine, although it might spoil the suprise

Id love to, it would give me a good idea of how mental a 300bhp golf would feel, I cant wait till mine's run in, i'll be on awesomes doorstep asap

It was your car that made my decision on getting an ED30, I saw it on that bloody rain afternoon in Rochdale, I have to say it looked awesome. You have done everything to your car that I want to do to mine i.e wheels, suspension, remap etc.

You two are more or less neighbours

Tom, I can guarantee that if you feel the power in a remapped ED30 you will not be able to settle with anything less

The dealers rang me today and told me that my ED30 is awaiting shipment    They said that it should be here in no more than 2 weeks! Roughly how long have other people had to wait for their new VW once built?? I know the next two weeks are going to be extremely hard, my dreams will consist of one thing, THE WHITE VW!! Sad I know, if anyone has any advice on how to cope please let me know  :undecided:

I am quite surprised on how quick the car has actually been built, I have noticed that many other people on the forum have had to wait longer.

How long ago did you order it? We ordered ours back in mid October, and we've been told mid-late January (but not heard since).

Your spec is almost the same as ours :-) Just got the cruise control for Euro-journeys and no smoking pack. I saw the first candy white edition 30 in the flesh a couple of weeks back. Definitely chuffed at the choice
