Which Plug?
« on: 30 December 2007, 17:11 »
Me mum went to Halfrauds for me today for some spark plugs...

On the car atm are NGK  BUR5ET 10 plugs, Halfrauds gave her NGK ZGR5B (also says 504 on the top of the pack) as thats what came up on the system (apparently)... So the question is; are Halfrauds completely wrong or did I have the wrong plugs? They have the same thread but otherwise different length!!

(Its a G reg 1600 Driver btw)

Not sure what I have in mine, but the Haynes says for a 1.6L (engine's EZ - RF) Champion N9BYC4 - ELECTRODE GAP NOT ADJUSTABLE.

So not sure what other ones you can use?
Passat B5.5 2.3 V5 170, with all the extras.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
