lol, that it might be, i got pulled by the old bill, i went to ipswich to the dee's after, was LOADS of cars out. Got pulled over and the old vehicle check rubbish. But i hadnt done anything wrong, so was all good

This isnt going well - My cig lighter isnt a switched live either, cant find one anywhere.

Any other suggestions?

Ryt, iv solved the issue, after a bit of searching i decided to take a switched live from my heated rear window screen button, used a snap connector to run a wire from that to the radio - now when i switch the car off it turns the radio off but keeps my stations as well

Happy Days - i suppose this wasn't 100% necessary but i prefer it that way

Well done Does the stereo loose power slightly when you turn on the rear screen?

Always wondered, suppose it depends on the size of the cable.
