my daughters vr6 ?????

she called me yesterday saying that car had a problem ?
we worked it out and found that the drive belt was very loose
in fact it was not going round , all lights kept coming on and off , battery was buggered
and also found a pice of round plastic that looks like a tencioner buggered as well, can anyone help ??
