what are the chances? GTI Insurance?
« on: 21 December 2007, 21:33 »
hello!

I have a 1990 1.6 driver at the moment, im insured through virgin for roughly 850 per year.

Im 19 years old, have one years no claims, but, I have an SP30 and partial blame for a crash, both in Feburary 2006.

Im 20 in July, what are the chances of me getting insurance on an 8v GTI when i turn 20?

I tried HIC online but couldnt get a quote, think i read not all their policies are online tho?  :undecided:

Any help much appreciated!

Thank you

I wouldnt expect a a cheap quote to be honest. I am 21 and have only ever had a claim when some silly slag crashed into me (accident not at fault) and have got 3 points for an CU30 (bald tyre) and still pay in excess of £1400. I would prob get a year no claims under your belt first then get a quote!

It if can't be achieved with brute force and ignorance, then the Haynes manual will have to be read!
