The new Evo has a completly new interior and is of a much higher standard and new Evo is under £40,000 and the Nissan GT-R is gonna be about £60,000 so yeah id rather have a GT-R too it's like saying would you rather have a full spec Porsche Cayman S or a Cayman with nowt on ??? errr.......

Mitsu had financial problems getting this car made, I read that.

If the new GT-R has got a boot like the old ones you won't have much more room at all, the boot was huge in my dads R32.
I'd go for the GT-R and be the one pulling away from you when the rain starts to fall

But no room for the mutt in the back... esp if you go for the estate. Dont jump on the GT-R band wagon just yet!! There are some pretty crazy tuning houses like hamman motorsport that will retune anything that comes out of the BMW factory.

Dude if you like it that much just go buy one! I never said anything about the GT-R tuners. Simply commenting on the car I would buy.

The difference is that the makers of the GT-R have made this car for nothing but speed, and practicality never really enters the race. The BMW is made for both the speed freaks and the suits out there, and at some point you have to satsify both. I dont have any doubt that GT-R will be the most focused car but does it tick all the boxes.... simply NO. So whats the harm in someone out there making it more speed focsued??? nothing... thats the point i was making.

you must be joking surely. WHAT bandwagon? Skylines are totally exclusive! And so will be GT-R.
About Hamann etc., yeah, first buy a real beemer and then go tune it - for that money you can buy two GT-Rs most likely!

I wouldnt want 2! Well actually if we are talking about killing 2 birds with one stone.. then yes maybe!

Anyway this is a golf forum.. so all this is hypothetically speaking. So in that case budget doesnt really come into it.
