Back light not working on heater controls?

hi chaps, small problem, when i turn the headlights on the heater controls dont light up, so i ant see which one i'm turnin in the dark, anyone know why? could it be a fuse or somethin? Also, the cigarette lighter doesnt work, whether they are linked, i dont know. Any help apprieciated, cheers.

Yeah it will be fuse mate, also could be a blown bulb which caused the fuse to blow.. check your fuses and check bulbs on controls..

cheers fella, gonna go sort it now. One quick question, when changing a headlight bulb, does the whole light have to come off or does the plastic lense clip off or.....?

the bulb is a single bulb and a piece of piss to get to ill see if i can find the guide on the tex' for it...

Cheers chaps, sorted the back light on the heater controls out, turned out to be a blown bulb, 50p later its sorted. Just gotta sort me headlamp out now and the power steerin belt slippage.

does the belt slip more in the wet than the dry and give you this horrible... im not going to turn for you symptom??

yeh thats it, i started a thread about it b4, people described the exact symptoms, so i'm pretty sure its the belt, dontthink i can change it meself tho, cant find the belt for a start plus aint got the right tools i'm guessin?
