Big hello from mb motorsport
« on: 13 December 2007, 15:28 »
Hi everyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dinx from durhamdubs has invited us to join your site.

A few of you will have already met us or visited our workshop and will have a general idea what we are about and the kind of work we do.

If you have not met us or used us in the past here is a quick profile on MB Motorsport.

MB Motorsport is run by two main people -

Micheal runs an audi TT 1.8 20v turbo in the BRDA rallycross championship in the super modified class and raced in autocross in a MK1 golf 16v for over 7 years. Colin runs a Mk1 16v Golf as a daily driver and has over 6 years in the aftermarket tuning industry and 2 years working in a specialist garage as a mechanic before that. The one thing both of us share is a passion for the VAG range. We both bring different things to the company and between us we get along great and have a few laughs along the way.

We have a strong customer base looking after rally cross cars, auto cross, road and track day cars.

The lupo we are building for a customer was built from a bare shell by our selves and is now running in the british Rallycross championship. We also built our Audi TT which is a full tubular chassis with fibreglass shell, the only thing on the car which is genuine TT parts are the Grill, Wing mirrors and rear lower spoiler.

We can offer full car preperation, fabrication, welding, engineering services, lightened flywheels and rollcage supply and fitting are all done in house.

We are after market agents for many VAG based specialist names such as Jetex, Forge, Eibach, Powerflex, Gaz, Milltek, Piper, EBC ,KW, Weitec

We have recently signed a deal with Jabbasport to be their North East agent, this includes all generic remaps taken fron Jabbasports live rolling road sessions. We can also supply and fit jabbasport manifolds and accesories etc etc as part of being their north east agent.

Our workshop consists of 2 units joined together as we feel it is inportant to have a friendly workshop customers can visit and see their cars being worked on and ask any questions they wish. We feel it is best to have a HQ rather than hide behind a website and claim to be some big thing. MB Motorsport is based in Hebburn in Gateshead and always has its doors open to new customers wether its to book your car in nor just pop up for a chat its fine by us.

Please feel free to ask any questions.

Many thanks
