does anyone know if halfords sell these type of bulbs or is it a VW only joby????

its the handbrake "ON" bulb

Is it soldered into that big plastic thing?  Other than that it looks fairly standard.

If it is soldered in then i doubt halfords will carry it, shouldn't be too much from VW though. You should be able to desolder it and solder in an LED instead if you can't get the bulb.

hmmm i like ya thinking with the LED idea. maybe ill give that a bash if i can get my hands on a soldering iron...... that should be fun BURN BURN  :laugh:
