Yeah bit heavy aint it.. but the standard ecu really holds back the engine or so i heard....

Lol i like that!! 170 is an amazing figure from a 1.7! lol

its the new golf gt engine and u can see them in scrappys but with box and ecu count the zero's after the 2!!!

Think this could be the new thing from the 1.8t engine.

Never looked into the TSi engine till you posted on here.

Might be how the 1.9TDi conversion started out. Would need all of the wiring loom for it to work or what ever it took to run. Probably worth speaking to Storm Developments.

yeah its a big conversion and im worried about the weight of the engine too its heavy like a diesel cuz of the silly pressures inside it...

makes me think too how would it last having the neck wrung out of it?

saying that there is a Golf 5 GT in the vw racing cup....

In theory it can be done, there has been a 2.0T from a mk5 in a mk2 so dont see why the tsi wouldnt go, i read somewhere that the tsi can fit into any current model in the vw range, imagine it in a fox!
