i was told today (by a rather c*ckey mechanic  :rolleyes: lol)

"if you spray a car matt black then it will be sh!t. if a bird sh!ts on it, or someone puts thier hand on it, it f**ks the paint up and you will have to spray it again, why do you think people laqcuer and polish their cars?"

Is this true? I t cut my car once a month to stop it blooming ... dont want to be spraying her every week  :laugh:

Dec: Depends on how much people care about the paint work of their cars.
But surely some piggy poo or a hand won't damage the paint work that much that it will warrant a new paint job every few months?

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

basically, yes its true.

also water marks really bad that wont polish out cos its matt.

as said, why ??? if yours was a rat candiate then fairy snuff, but yours looks v tidy mate.
