Hi guys,

My gf's 04 1.4 golf is due for a service.  What price will she typically expect to pay?

Located in Tyne & Wear particularly the Sunderland area if anyone can recommend a decent garage etc.

Regards,

Greg

Recently paid only £111 for my first service - time/distance.

Benfield Motors, Scotswood Road, Newcastle.

VW seem to be matching independent dealer prices recently just to get your business.

You could try Mill Garages on Newcastle Road, Sunderland.  I've used them in the past quite a lot and found the prices reasonable.  Can't help with prices for your specific car.  I'd always go to a VW garage.
