There's already a 400bhp APR Golf and from all the reviews I've read it is a very capable carhttp://www.worldcarfans.com/7061106.001/volkswagen-golf-gti-by-apr-at-sema

If you really want a car that just travels in straight line go buy a VXR...Some people are just plain stoopid.. but i guess if thats what floats your boat, then fair enough. Just a very expensive was of floating it.. considering you can now just fly with easyjet for peanuts (not to mention the resale value )Astra OPC has torque steer. But it handles fine. And it is fast. And they put it in racing this year. You are so cathegorical, I noticed, it's all black and white for you. I was like that, too, when I was a teenager.... I just looked, and you are 27?!

Im not saying there is anything wrong with it.. i just dont see the point in having 400BHP in a fwd car. They may have made a few mods.. but that article which is only about that car is not going to say, its not that great. No matter what mods you make, the bottom line is that 400 thru those two front wheels does not work! And if you think it does... then thats cool. But if it really did.. and was that fun.. the BMW, MB, Porsche, and Ferraris would make a model that sarisfied that market. Thankfully they dont, because they know that it just not viable even though it would be rediculously cheap to do in comparison to developing the cars they currently do. Probably to do with the fact that not many people would buy them... but look on the bright side... you would be at the top of the waiting list
