i hav 1  my self  an by that i mean gti 1.8 turbo  an trust  me my  friend the 1.8 changes your life for good at the end ov the day hu really wants a  derv lol  :evil:

definatley the 1.8t dude! there sweet! and having a diesel, to me, means get married, by a house, have kids..... etc! lol!

Turbos are all sweet tho, but go for the petrol! they are well good on fuel when driven properly, but when you boot it..... makes you feel alive! but the petrol gauge starts dying! lol!

Wish I could just get both! :laugh:

Btw, do any of you MK4 Golf owners live in Dartmoor? I saw a silver MK4 Golf TDi, whilst on holiday last month, and the owner was fitting an induction kit. Just wonder if he's a member on this forum?

for those of you that watched top gear last night (09/12/2007) the top gear lads came third in class (diesel) the car that came first was a GT TDI 150, which came 13th overall, which the top gear lads 123 laps behind

Will always love my mk4 but she had to go...225 Quattro TT in its place....but its still black (she lives on in spirit!)
