Does anybody know what the VW optional extra codes mean in the service schedule book, i.e. what is X2B?? Basically want to know what my car has got

if you've got leccy windows then its probably that?

leccy mirrors, vortex centre console, or even air con?

not sure about other mks.. but on a mk3 i thought it was all listed on that printed sticker in the spare tyre well
Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...

Its the same sticker thats in the spare tyre well that is also in the proof of service book (i.e. service history). It has the vin no., engine, gearbox no., interior equipment, paint no. etc. Then underneath that there is a list of 28 codes, which are supposedly 'optional extras'. I only ask as I am curious, but know some options that my motor has, e.g. sunroof. By the way it is a mk3.

no idea how to decode the codes..

would be interesting, i have a sunroof too, along with leather and aircon
