Tyres Question

Hi All,
Had my MOT done last week and the gadgie reckoned I'd need tyres within the next 1-2000 miles.  I've started looking around, but wondered if anyone had any suggestions on what are best, bearing in mind the wet weather???

I've looked at Avon ZZ3s, Pirelli P Zero Nero and Goodyear Eagle F1 so far.

Can anyone recommend any of these or any better ones?

i got avons on mine the grip is good but the tyres r sh$t they have started to split all round the edges

Ive got toyo T1-R Proxes . The Grip is fantastic and thay wear really well for a performance tyre

i have Pirelli P6000 all around,  they seem all good.

go for Conti's, Michelins or the Goodyears.

IMO Pirelli's are too soft and give up grip too easily when pushing on.

always remember that its your tyres that keep you on the road so always buy the best you can afford; dont' skimp

I've got michelin primacy's on mine - not the sportiest tyres admittedly but excellent grip in the wet and dry.  But the best thing about them is I get about 30k miles out of the front ones and the rear ones are still going strong!

hi there, im a tyre fitter and although michelins are ment to be the best the bad point with them is that they are a asymetrical tyre and if u have a tracking problem you cant turn them around to wear them evenly, its the same with continental and some goodyears, the goodyear eagle f1's are good but you wont get a lot of mileage out of them. and with ehe contnental they crack on the sidewalls and are a waste of money. we've found that toyo t1-r are a brilliant tyre for performance, handling, fuel consumption and they last for a good 20,000miles. well worth the money

Anyone whos been to Brands will testifiy that my tyres are the best of the best.

They have the L spelt backwards and try to attempt to resemble to word "Continental" and so massive I think I'd give a Land Rover a run for its money going off road !

what tread type of continental's are they? never take a golf off road!!
