Buzz...

So I marvel at the door handle design, open her up and then there it is.....buzz.............

Is this some form of immobiliser noise or a pump of some sort? It isn't a fault that's for sure..but every time we open the drivers door it does it?

Intrigued.

PS I've washed it 147 times. Am I becoming a VW Obsessive?

PPS Only kidding. It's only 146 times...

PPPS My wife (who you will recall is the actual owner) caught me in the garage with her last night - just staring. Is this normal behaviour. (I say 'her', I mean 'it'..it's just that she has such lovely headlights..)

PPPPPS As for the forum she (that's the wife not the car) said that she feels it would be healthier for me to look at porn. You heard it here first!!

SEARCH facility on here is marvellous isn't it. After I posted this I decided to look and then discovered it was doing what it should do by priming the fuel pump.

I feel so studious....posting a question and answering myself on the same evening...

Of course I won't get any Golf Friends to talk to but I know someone will reply as you are all now my new friends...

If there is a fault and it buzzes for over 7 seconds the car explodes, might want to watch out for that one.

I wasn't sure whether to believe the seven second story or not. So for now my Mother-in-law is sat in the drivers seat................6...5....4...3...2
