I beginning to think I am the only person on here who if had the funds.. would not buy and audi R8

Well it was the first one to spring to mind as Peskarik asked for, but given a little longer there are others

for me the 2nd car is without a doubt the PORSCHE CARRERA GT !
Nothing comes close and the sound of that V10 is better than sex !

wait till you boys see what Porsche is bringing out next: the GT1 with 800BHP. A car that many believe is the "Veyron Killer"!

R8 is fabulous! Fast, efficient....

But Alfa got soul  (I say that as a former Alfa 164 owner).

Maserati got a fair bit of that too.. Its just such a good looking car similar to Alfa's of the past. Its strange how in this game you can select a car thats definately not perfect, or would ever get voted the best car ever, but pick a car more on its merits. I know for a fact that the maserati is not that quick, or have a great gearbox, but damn does it look soooo good. And you can be sure it sounds the same way. Plush interior, and Miss Zeta Jones wouldnt look out of place in one!

my GF is a sucker for Mazis.  I am an Alfa-dog, though.

power corrupts absolutely, that's true! 
I'd be happy with 400hp in 8C, though. I mean, where can you use it other than track?? I am not a track-driver 

BTW, was in Audi show room yesterday, really want to test S3, but don't know how to correctly ask for a test drive, I mean, I don't want to buy S3, and the guy probably sensed it. He, VW showroom was one see-thru door down, and there was a white E30 there, just like mine, but the Audi guy did not know what E30 was. 
Anyway, there was this white R8 in the show room, it did not really make my heart go faster (design-wise I mean, I know it is brilliant on the go). And this white R8 had this black flap on the sides (you know, just in fron of the back wheels). WHY the heck did they put that thing there?  Not nice looking.

Buddy, you are not the only one!!!
Despite all the brilliance of R8, I don't need a perfect car, i already have E30 for that, what I want is a car that really goes to my heart! And that could only be an italian car. For me it is Alfa 8C. Now, if I just had 215000 Euro...

(On the side note, I took my GF to an Italian restaurant yesterday, to get into her good books  ). Of course I took my other lover E30 with me, and I caned it on the way back, wooohoooo! Sssssss, pshhhh, ssssss, pshhhh. 
My GF is really jealous of the car, she thinks I love the car more than her!
