Hi all
I am looking to get some Porsche Design 90 Alloys and i was wondering where i can get the adapters to fit them , also what size can i fit on the mk1 cabrio, i was thinking 6x16 front and 7x16 rear but would i manage 8x16 rear?

have you got a clipper kit on the car?
i could get 16x9 on the rear of my cab with plenty of room on the outside, they scrubbed on inside but that was nothing that spacers wouldn't sort! (they were trial fit from my brothers car!)

no i didn't rub on the outer arch, i was catching on the springs, but the wheels werent the correct fitment (needed spacers)
i couldn't say for definite about your wheels..
The clipper kit gives you more room for wider wheels

or in the case of my golf the wheels wont rub because the arches are rusted away
just get good stretch on the tyres and you will be fine!

the problem with stretched tyres is the rims are more prone to damage from pot holes of which there are a lot in surrey, having already buckled a set of bbs rm's on a :sad:lowered mk2
