So true.....
How much would you guys pay for a car presently. I would probably spend ?15k but would go up to ?25k with a real stretch.

i'd spend a proportional amount of what i've got...
i wouldnt spent 25k on a car unless i had lots more than that...

the mk3 16valver is a nice car to drive, and will not set u back much more than 3-4k for a nice example
