Thanks everyone for the replies.
As ever warranty becomes a concern with such a visible mod , but hey!

All options look great, I guess it comes down to cash.

a) I could try to put in harder pads , which often helps , for a much smaller outlaw
b) full new brakes circa 1k roughly

definitely a feel issue though as well as actual stopping performance.
So maybe braided lines may help matters on a std setup.

you could try these brake stiffening kit from tyrol sport. i have some just need to fit them at some point

I'm suprised people are saying their brakes are crap - for a road car i'd say my brakes were excellent - no fade over the cairnamount which is a road local too me that has induced fade in quite a few previous chariots i've had!

I suppose I will find out for sure when I come back from Awesome over the Snake pass after just having it remapped :undecided:
