Wet leaves + Lamp post by any chance? Gutted for you mate, all to common at this time of year. People forget the roads get a bit greasey after a summer of dry running. I've had a couple of near misses myself lately.

yeah.well gutted.it not that bad though. only needs slam panel,red bit under the bumper,grille,bumper, bonnet and maybe radiator.

Don't feel to bad mate.
I had a front ender last year, needed new n/s wing, rad, bumper(big), grill, both headlamps, all the slam panels
and it didn't cost to much for parts and labour,
However the paint cost a fortune(Helios blue)  VW know how to charge for it.


Ask around for quotes, mine was about £1100 all in.

Crap that sucks mate, look at it this way....the only way is up now and you will end up with a sparkling new front by the end of the tunnel!

i shouldnt worry too much mate, could have been worse, could have lost it and the pole hit the side of the car. would have done in the door, side skirts, maybe even the roof.

i lost grip on a bend the other week. hit the kerb at about 30ish and did some damage, bent wishbone (was like a banana), bent stub axle, broken alloy and shattered CV joint. i think i may have done some other damage but have checked out the whole of the suspension on that corner and all seems to be alight, guess i will find out in a week or so when i get my MOT done
