MK1 NEWBIE HERE

hi ya newbie here my names wayne i've just got rid of my mk3 gti to get myself mk1 golf gli cabby ( i know not gti but same engine) got it as a bit of running project , no pics just yet but thats cause i got it cheap enough so when i got it few things needed doing so give it to garage straight away wanted her safe b4 i got it on the road, its rolling on 14x 9's at the minute but got plans its black , i gonna get new mohair roof, interior re trim, looking to get some chrome porsche door handles crystal smoked lights and indicators all round, i need stainless 4 branch manifold( as one on it a bit past its best lets say) then stainless exhaust but wanna keep it as lod school as poss, oh and chrome strip to run along the car anyway this is me cheers people

yeah Gaz mentioned you to me..the place i got mine, i dont recommend as they scratched my paint..company was car hoods northern, they are mobile and tbh, the first roof i got was spot on..paid £450 dink, but the below thread should show you cheaper ones possibly?

cheers for that i'll check it out, she's still in the garage at the minute but since i got it bought the grin factor back to my face cant beat the mk1's  i maybe forgot to mention i'm in skegness by the way people
