GTI Owners club membership question

What VW/Golf/Gti owners clubs are there, which are the best and how do you join - I believe a discount on insurance is available if you're a member of the owners club or does being registered on this excellent forum count?? :embarassed:

Club gti is a proper club that should be recognised by all insurers, not sure if they will all count golfgti.co.uk as a club because, well, it isn't really!

As a member of clubgti you also get 10% off at GSF car parts. Up until recently they gave you 10% off just for saying "i'm part of club gti" but not so long ago the boss at Pompey told me that GSF nationwide are meant to be getting a lot more strict on this and will be asking for production of a clubgti (or other partner clubs) membership card.

I get 10% discount with hic by being a member on here!! and 10% of at eurocarparts (have a look in the members offers section for details)
