please note its not as straight forward as suggested :huh:but after much poring and testing and reading forums i think i have sussed it , will let you know and i will post a diagram that i hope will augment the original info :nerd:anyhow i havent driven golfs since i had two mk1 lhd's in the early 80s while in west germany one was a 79 4speed 1600 and a a 82 5speed 1800 loved those tools they use to get us back to blightly in double quick time :cool:and we used to love stuffing rs2000s when we got back owning a Grand Turisimo Injection golf at that time was as blinding then as it is today :grin:i had forgotten how much fun they were :laugh:this is the first car ive owned since 94 as i got into biking so i also own a 99 955cc daytona and as much as i love the daytona[ it covered leeds express by holiday inn to my house in london 196 miles in 155 mins with a fuel stop! and no b******t]

it is the golf i find myself using more and more,searching egay for parts,finding tips,trawling forums for my EXACT idling problem :shocked:and generally finding all my spare time thinking golf! MADNESS

and i hate golf as me dad used to make me caddy for him when doing 9 holes round picketts lock :sad:so hi again to one and all and i hope to be able to add info to those that may need it
