I need to get a tiny bit of body work sorted as well. Do you have any recommends for body shops round here? I've heard thare's a decent one in Urmston.

Si

This guy has been highly recommended by my 2 mates that live in Flixton, he said he can't really quote over the phone and would need us to pop down which would only take 10mins to quote but to give us a rough guide a bonnet respray is approximately £150.00.  They would need the cars for 2-3 days but unfortunately don't have courtesy cars.

Let me know when you're free and we'll go along together and see what deal we can drum up....I'll even wear my lowcut cleavage top that day  :smug:

Nice one Hayley

The other one that has been recommended is Urmston Body Repair Centre which someone on the forum has recommended and the guys at Sale VW recommended separately (I had mine serviced there last week and they were good). Maybe I'll give the Urmston guys a call as well. I'm off for 2 weeks' hols from Saturday lunchtime so a drive over to Flixton would have to be after 8th December if possible. Unless you have any days off during the week. I might be able to slink away for a couple of hours one afternoon this week. I'll drop you a text anyway once I've check what I've got on.
I suppose the cars won't rot away in the next 2 weeks mind you.

Speak soon anyway

I tried ringing the Urmston guys today but was engaged, then I had to shuffle paperwork around on my desk and look busy

I'll give them a buzz tomorrow.  I may be able to bunk off Wed afternoon from 2pm onwards but other than that no chance as I've got meetings/interviews all week plus I travel down south on Fri morning for the weekend.

Famous last words...it's not like they'll rot away in 2wks, so after the 8th Dec will be fine if we don't make it this week.

Yeah I might be OK Wed afternoon but I'll need to check my outlook diary tomorrow. Make sure I've got no meetings booked in or anything. I'll drop you a text tomorrow.

Correct - Milky Beans!

Anywhere below Birmingham is south to me  plus everyone thinks I'm from further south coz I have a right 'corrrrrrrrrr blimey' cockney accent from way too much time spent in Luton and London which is a shame coz I sound common as hell and really I'm not...no really...I'M NOT!
