Hi - new to the forum
« on: 16 November 2007, 11:28 »
Hi there - just bought a '97 Mk3 GTI 8 valve with 120k on it. Intending to keep it reasonably standard but need to mint up the bodywork just round the rear passenger window seal where there is very slight bubbling. Just had it fully serviced and checked over/belts changed by a good local independent specialist (put their detail in the Good Guys thread) and the motor is apparently rock solid still. Ready for another 120k. Loving it so far and will doubtless be tempted to mod it a bit soon. Good to have a V Dub again after 10 years of dull company cars or rattly things.
Si
