Phillips side light bulbs

Has anyone got these are thay any good. What do thay look like when lit? do thay look chavy?? What side light bulb does the mk4 take?

the sidelight for a MK4 with twin halogen headlights is;

W5W 12v 5 Watt (what you've linked to)

Dipped is H7 55 Watt

Main H1 55 Watt

For those with xenon

sidelight H6W

Dipped D2S 35 Watt

Main H7 55 Watt

do thay look chavy??

i'd say yes, and aren't those blue ones illegal ?

those in the link arent chavvy you cheeky gehts!!  and they ain't illegal either 

i've got them in mine and they don't emit a blue light; its a white light.  when they are off they look blue but not chavvy

They omit white light, BTW.

If you spend over a tenner (i.e. on some H7's), you'll get those sidelights thrown in for free, anyway!
