  • Hello, my name is John and I'm a dub addict.
I'd steer clear of TSR conversions, becasue you gotta keep going back to them for new discs as they aint std VW.  I replied to your wanted ad ;)
Look into a 256 setup from old audis and scirocco 16vs, not quite as big as a 280mm setup but usually more than enough for most applications along with a MK2 GTI servo + MK2 16v 22mm master cylinder.

but surely a descent car spares place would be able to suplly discs to pattern,
ive had some trouble gettin brakes for mine, cuz its a mix n match jobby, currantly running brembo 4 pots off v6 406 coupe and pads but the disc is of a 307 2l hdi., not sur if theres more variety on vw. over pug pbs.(parts bin specials) lol

nah cos they aint std discs, they're re-drilled.  Spose you could get em from another source and get em drilled to 4x100, afaik the discs are from a rover of some kind!

rover are also 4x100 aint they, but i spose making dodgy discs that only you supply is 1 sure way of making you come back in a couplle of years isnt it!

hmm, maybe its just the centre bore that needs drilling out, rover is smaller than VW aint it?
