starter motor

hi when i go to start it sqeals realy bad and its seeming to be getting worse is it the starter motor
once a dub always a dub

Sometimes on startup my alternator/fan belt squeals loudly for a few seconds then goes quiet again. Could you get someone else to start it while you've got you head in the engine bay - you'll be able to hear where its coming from.

normally squeals like that are caused via belts, normally loose due to wear....
is it worse the colder it is??

id say its your fan belt.

if it does turn out to be your starter motor then just hit it with a BFH. that seems to fix most things.
I don't remember asking you a god damn thing!

but you dont hear it turn over atleast once if you hold the ignition on then try again and it normaly starts but its getting longer to sto  sqealing if you know wat i mean
