New here ;) Need some help too!

Hi guys n girls.

New to the forum, new to VWs too.

Used to have an Audi A3 1.8T but it wasnt really my thing, so ive gone for the Dub instead

Im buying it on Friday this week, MOT failed and fella tells me hes had most bits done apart rear brake hoses (not too difficult a job).

Is there anything else i should really be looking for? Rust? Leaks?

what mk is the golf that you are buying? that will help when replying as things are different for each mk? there are also mk specific sections on this forum so you will be able to find a lot of answers in there?
