grey spark plugs

have just checked my plugs and they have a light grey coating on them can anyone say what could be causing this cheers

Grey is good. Shows the engine tuning is correct. Shiny grey, not so good. Could be getting a little hot. Carbon black not so good. Burning too rich. Nothing a good tune will not sort out. Wet black, BAD. Either burning extremely rich or burning oil or a mixture of both.

matt grey not shiny so if this is good im happy cheers
