ordering original vag parts

Chaps (and lasses)

Searched the forums for answers, but to no avail.  The stainless exhaust is going back to original, but where's the best place to order a genuine exhaust from?  Do VW have an online facilty (I couldn't find one), is there an alternative company that suply standard fit of similar quality.  And finally, I've read mention of a vw longlife system - is this just a reference to the one they supply, or do they offer two different types?  Anyone know how much it'd cost for a '92 8v Gti from the manifold (but not including), back?  And finally, the engine's got uprated piper cams in it, is putting the exhaust abck to normal (it's currently got a powerflow system on it) going to require some re-tuning? - I appreciate there may be a slight decrease in power, but I don't mind that if it stops my ears from bleeding everytime I spend more than 15 minutes on the motorway ;)

Cheers........

With that said, this is looking appealing - seems those with a Miltek swear by it.....

Is the £292 package everything from the manifold back then? That's what i need.......?

Can any of the Miltek boys just confirm at between 65-90 on the motorway with a K&N, could you still hold a conversation with your Nan?

(This car is eating so much money!)

...or of course there's the supersprint route.

I've been trawling through the search facility on here, and google but it seems there's mixed opinions.

Original VAG .v. Milltek .v. Supersprint

Price isn't an issue, smooth running alongside the air filter and cams, plus minimal noise is.

Anyone care to offer a kinda final verdict on which would be the best choice for me before I order one?

No, but my nan is deaf so thats not really fair.

If you're not foot to the floor then the rumble is only a little more than the standard exhaust.
