Remapped the ED30
« on: 09 November 2007, 18:14 »
Went and did it, had the ED30 remapped at Awesome today and that exactly what it is. It made 295bhp and 321ft/lbs of torque(torque at the wheels) on the rollers, bearing in mind the ECU needs to self learn to the map and the car has only done 1200miles I think 300bhp is on the cards.
The midrange surge and top end pull are amazing and its made quick car very very fast.
So I'm a very happy bunny and all I need is a dry day, I had the traction light come on at 70 on the motorway in the rain

Also had cruise control fitted which works as standard but can also switch the map between performance and standard modes.
Can't recommend the remap and Awesome enough.

Stop tempting me

I think you should do it!! Call it an early xmas present to yourself... thats usually my excuse at this time of year. I have often found that using this tactic carefully can provide fantastic results!

I assume its the APR remap ?  kinda need an excuse for the cruise control lol

any chance of putting up the plot? and did they do a before run?
Cant imagine what its like , as the std 220 feels pretty rapid  already.

easily over 300 once you are past 5k miles , cars barely run in you nutter

jealous me ? course not

So if your getting around 300bhp and its costing around £600. Your only paying £100 per 10Bhp!!!

Put me down for 600bhp!!

Why would you not do it???

superchips quote 307bhp, not a big fan of them, heard they just up boost, used APR before with no problems, APR quote 295-305bhp with my car only having covered 1200 miles I'm pretty confident it'll do 300bhp once loosend up a bit more and the ECU has self learnt with the new map.

yes with APR software the cruise can switch between remap and factory.

sorry don't have any means of scanning the power graphs, the car made good power as std
