I started my car about 2 weeks ago and the water light came on, so i popped the bonnet and the reservior was empty so i filled it up again, i havnt driven it in a while as ive broken my ankle so i went out today and fired it up, the water light came on again and it was empty so i filled it up again and had a good check for the leak, i noticed it was coming from the back of the engine but couldnt see axactly so i phoned my mate who,s a mechanic, he said dont worry its probly just the core plug and to bring it to him in 2 weeks when i can drive again, is this a big problem as ive never heard of a core plug? and will it be ok just sat for 2 weeks, his garage isnt far so when i take it i can probly just fill it up and get it to him. any advice would be great
