Waterproof Seat covers
« on: 08 November 2007, 15:48 »
I know i'm a little while away from needin one of these but no harm in looking.
I'd like to get a pair of heavy duty waterproof seat covers that are tailored to fit the standard GTi front seats.
I know you can get universal ones, i've got one of these just now but it's no use on seats with large bolsters and all the other universal ones seem to be the same.
I've had a search on google but haven't been able to find anything yet.

Cheers

Kenny

No. No. NO.

Hurdy is quite obvious he plans to upgrade the shock suspension and go do off-road in the Himalayas

Just jokes... Have you enquired at a stealer? Ours do seat covers but me thinks they rather expensive.

Maybe   One of my mates has some land, there's a few of us with paintball guns and we quite often go up there and spend the day running about in the woods (oo err) shooting the hell out of each other, it starts out with some sort of senario but usually ends up in a free for all! By the end of it your soaked right through if it's raining which it usually is and covered in bright green paint! Thats just one of the reasons though.

I bought a seat cover for my girlfriends clio from carseatcovers.co.uk, wasn't very impressed with it to be honest, it was definately the right one for her car but it seems too big, near enough everytime you get in the car the bottom half of the cover comes off.

If i cant find anything else then i suppose i could give it a go and see what it's like. I haven't spoken to the stealer yet, i'm offshore just now but ill call in when i get back and see what they say.
