Gear knobs

Does anyone know if a mk4 gear knob is a direct fit into a mk3?

Not a direct fit no. You will need to cut the gearlever down with a pipe cutter then attach the mk4 knob with a jubilee clip and a wee bit of glue for extra security

What about a mk2 knob does that fit direct?

I'm not 100% but i'm pretty sure it does. Mk4 one looks much nicer..

mk2 ones fit.....mines got one fitted as we speak. good old fashioned golf ball knobs..why didnt they fit them to mk3's??

yeah it dosent fit with the mk3 gator.... i wanted to replace mine anyway so wasn't a problem!
