had something in there rattling about as well....except this was on the day I picked it up...needless to say I turned right round and took it back...they embarrassingly took it in the workshop and sorted it..out of sight unfortunately...

Sorry. i ran a few searches etc on other forums. It seems nobody has tried to take that panel off... When you open the boot does it rattle? Or only when you drive?

So, you can hear this over the din from the dash rattle, and the vibration from the speaker cards, and the squirming of the front door seals ? And even over the 'clank' from the underside that occurs (just the once) at 75ish ?

Somebody else whos car gets a clank underneath at about 75. Any idea what it is? Mine only seems to do it when you lift off slightly at that speed. I have thought that it could be un-burnt fuel getting into the exhaust. Don't know if this is possible though.
Golf GTi :), DSG :), Deep black pearl :), forgot to order the xenons :(, winter pack :)

If its a clank, and happens when you lift, it'll be the exhaust hitting the car as the engine moves, or a dodgy mount moving around when the load is lifted.
