yes took off the cowling, then you will see the barrel, behind this you can see all the wiring which goes to the ignition switch, i was told it was a fault on the ignition switch so bought one from the main dealer, cost £18, but after waggling the wires it worked fine so i havnt used the switch yet, thought id see if it cut out again first which it hasnt.
whoever fitted the immobiliser used scotch clips and block connectors and my car audio mate who fits alarms says this is a big NO NO, he is gonna fit me my Clifford and solder all the conections up again...
in the meantime iv tie wrapped the cables to the barrel and all is good..
if u change the ignition awitch y ou will need to buy a sheer bolt too, they are £1..
