Hi all newbie kiwi here
« on: 04 November 2007, 06:07 »
Hi all :-) have just brought a vr6  1997 yesterday am a newbie at this , was driving home & the water light came on and the gauge was over 110 and the oil temp was 122  (mfa) after about 1/2 hour, the fans were going and it has no leaks that i can see, &  plenty of water in the reservior bottle.
Could this be a thermostat problem???? or is it something more serious????? i did look in the oil, and under the oil cap and thats fine (no mayonaise).
Is an awsome car otherwise, and am dying to be able to drive it .
Any ideas guys????????????
cheers
