Hey guys, Im still hunting for a 16V GTI for my new project, only the more i see the more i get confused, could someone just let me know how many different styles of interiors there are for the 16v GTI, I have seen a few with a black (charcoal?) interior, but none have had rear head rests. . . whats going on there? Then some of the lighter interiors have had rear head rests, i just feel lost!

I think only the VR6 had the rear headrests?

I did have a 97/R 16v fitted with the newer style factory recaro's, same pattern as the std gti seats with rear headreats.
I recently sold the car (black 16v in my sig), but my mate had the interior for his 16v.

I think that was just a special factory optional extra as most rear head rest are in the VR's

Got rear headrests in mine and mines a 97 R plate.

I have a 97 8v GTI and mine has rear headrests.
Cream leather interior.:smiley:
