ordering parts.......

Need to order parts to fix the following:

track rod ends split
top strut mounts worn
wishbone bushes worn
anti roll bar links worn
rear shocks damp.

It seems vwspares.co.uk is stocking everything I need, but (school boy question coming up) when I order do they come in pairs or individualy?

Couldn't see a difference for o/s n/s so I guess they're symetrical and sold individualy?

And are track rod ends also known as tie rod ends?

If I order the outer link and bushes, I assume should also order the inner rubber bush?

And finally, which shocks should I get? oil or gas? It's lowered 40mm on the springs with (I assume) standard shocks?

i wokr in parts.. or am learning to i should say.. but.. all that is going to be in singles..

track ro ends are also tie rod ends yes. these are handed n/s and o/s due to their angles.

top strut mounts, wishbone bushes, anti roll bar links and rear shocks are all single profile items.. eg they are the same no matter what side they are on.

outer link and bushes? you mean the eyelets in the wishbones? the inner rubber bush you mean to be, the subframe ones?

by the way if youre doing wishbone bushes unless going poly its cheaper/easier to buy them ready with all the bushes, saves having to press out and in the new ones..

and when lowered gas is basically the way to go.. with oil if you lower them, you remove the buffer zone, and because a liquid is not compressible like a gas.. youll just be wearing them drastically with every bump
