They're all a bunch of w*nkers mate! Why people have to do Sh*t like this is beyond me. You can spend hours and pounds getting a car sorted and then some little jerk comes and ruins it all for you.
Perhaps you need to wire your new door handles up to the mains or something?!
I remember years ago seeing a MK1 GTi (Probably not long after the MK2 came out, so it was pretty tidy still!) parked at the road side with the sunroof open and the car was unlocked. I thought what an idot to do that but on closer inspection, noticed that the back seat was down and a rather large alsatian was lying in the back - better than any CAT 1 alarm I've seen!
