Last one I promise....

When I get over 70mph it sounds like im in the cockpit of a bi-plane. The wind noise is incredible!

I'm unsure whether it's the seal on the car or whether the door has dropped slightly. Is this a common problem and does anyone know if it's fixable. it's getting quite annoying now so I would appreciate your replies.

Thanks

the heavy doors do drop and can be rehung quite easily (use the search function as someone quite recently ddid a write up on this)... but first check the seals are ok as these could be split etc

Check all your window seals and ensure the glass sits correct in it's place.

Can you hear the noise from a particular section of the car?

The doors do tend to drop on these cars, especially on the 3 doors. You can easily see by looking at how flush and level the lines are against the rest of the car.

You need a special Torx tool to loosen the catch bolts to adjust.

I had that problem and it was the door seal. Changed that and all quiet again!

Mine's doing this as well, on the drivers side door, from 80mph and above, (sorry 65mph!!!!).

The door pins are clicking as well, so I guess I need to re-hang the door then?  (3 door model).

What tool do I need, better to get a garage to do it?

Mine is missing the plastic strip on the passenger door because of a dent, so i have loads of the small holes, so i get this loud wind noise over 60. Might check the seals too though. As it is loud for sure.
